2. Basic information on data processing
All personal data is processed in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. This means that the data of the users may only be used if legal consent has been given, in particular if the data is required or legally required of our processing services as well as our online services.

We take organizational, contractual and technical safety measures in accordance with the latest technical standards to ensure that the data protection laws are complied with and to prevent the manipulation, loss, destruction of data or the access of unauthorized persons.

If, within this data protection declaration, content, tools or other means are used by other providers (hereinafter referred to collectively as “third-party providers”) and whose registered office is abroad, it is assumed that a data transfer takes place in the third-party countries, The transmission of data in third countries is carried out either on the basis of legal authorization, user consent or special clauses of the contract, which ensure the secure handling of the data.

3. Processing of personal data
In addition to the use expressly stated in this data protection declaration, the personal data is processed for the following purposes on the basis of legal authorizations or user consent:
- Providing, carrying out, maintaining, optimizing and securing our provided service and user service.
- Ensuring effective customer service and technical support.

The data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for billing purposes (for example, to a payment service provider) or for other purposes necessary to meet our contractual obligations against the users (e.g., addressing to suppliers).

When contacting us (via contact form or e-mail), the user’s data is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and following up questions and communication.
All personal data will be deleted once it has fulfilled its intended purpose and does not preclude the obligation of retention.

The access data includes the name of the retrieved web page, the file, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred, the successful retrieval report, the browser type, the user’s operating system, the reference URL (former visited site), the IP address, and the requesting provider.

We may use the log data only for statistical evaluation, for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of our online offer without linking it to the user or other profiles, according to the legal regulations. However, we reserve the right to check the log data at a later date, if there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

5. Cookies & Coverage Analytics
Cookies are transmitted by our web server or web servers of third parties to the users’ web browsers and stored there for later use. The users are informed about the use of cookies for analysis of distribution in this privacy statement.
The website can also be viewed with the exclusion of cookies. If users do not want cookies to be stored on their computers, they are asked to disable the option in their system settings of their browser. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional limitations of the website.
There is a possibility to manage and monitor online advertising cookies by linking to the US site or the EU site

6. Newsletter
In the following paragraphs, we will state the contents of our newsletter as well as the registration, sending and statistical evaluation procedure as well as your right of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree in receiving the newsletter and the details described below.

Content of the newsletter: We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with promotional information (“Newsletter”) only with the consent of the beneficiaries or a legal permission. The signing-up to the newsletter is based on the contents of the newsletter as specifically described and decisive for the consent of the users. In addition, our newsletters contain the following information: products, information and promotions and offers from our company.

Double opt-in and logging: The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. With this procedure the customer will receive an e-mail after registration, in which he will be asked to confirm his registration. This confirmation is necessary so that it is not possible to log on with a foreign e-mail address. The registration for the newsletter is recorded in order to be able to prove the registration process has been fulfilled according to the legal requirements. This includes the storage of the login and the confirmation time, as well as the IP address. The changes of the data are also passed on and stored with the newsletter distributing service.
Newsletter distributing service: The newsletter is sent by „[NAME, ADRESSE DES VERSANDDIENSTLEISTERS ANGEBEN]“ (hereinafter referred to as “distributor”). The data protection regulations of the distributor can be viewed here: [[BITTE LINK ANGEBEN].
The e-mail address of our newsletter recipient, as well as all connected data, described in the context of this statement is stored on the servers of the distributor. The distributor uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, the distributor may use this data to optimize or improve his own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and the presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, the distributor will not use the data of our newsletter recipients to generate own mailings or pass it on to third parties.

Registration data: To register for the newsletter, it is sufficient to specify your e-mail address. Optionally, please provide the following data: First and last name for the personalization of the newsletter, date of birth, sex and business to adapt the contents of the newsletters to the interests of our readers.

Statistics, surveys and analysis: The newsletters contain a “web-beacon”. A pixel-sized file that is retrieved by the server of the distributor when the newsletter is opened. The file contains technical information, such as information about the used browser and the operating system, as well as the IP address and time of retrieval. This information is used to technically improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour by means of their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or the access times. For the statistical survey it also includes information, whether the newsletters has been opened, when it was opened and which links in the mail were clicked. Due to technical reasons this information is automatically assigned to individual newsletter recipients and is not done with the intention, neither by us nor by the distributor, to monitor the individual recipient. The collected data helps us to recognize the reading habits of our readers and as a result adapt the contents according to the reading interests.

Termination / Revocation: The customer may revoke his consent and terminate the receipt of our newsletter at any time. At the same time, the reader data and the statistical analyzes will be deleted in the data base of the distributor. You will find a link to the termination of the newsletters at the end of each newsletter.

7. Integration of services and third-party content
It may happen that within our online offer, third-party content or services from third-party websites, such as maps or fonts, are integrated. The inclusion of third-party content always assumes that the third-party providers can see the IP address of the users, as they could not otherwise send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required for the display of these contents. Furthermore, third-party content providers may set their own cookies and process the data of the users for their own purposes. User profiles can be created from the processed data. We will use this kind of content as sparsely as possible and in a data-avoiding manner as well as select reliable third-party providers in regard to data security.
The following illustration provides an overview of used third-party providers as well as their contents, their links to their data protection policies with further information on the processing of data and which may, as already mentioned, contain possibilities for cancellation and termination (so-called opt-out):
– External fonts from Google, Inc., (“Google Fonts”). The Google Fonts are integrated by a server call at Google (usually in the USA).

8. User’s Rights and Deletion of Data
Users have the right to request free of charge information about the personal data that we have stored on them.
In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data, revoke consent, blockage and deletion of their personal data, as well as the right to submit a complaint to the competent supervisory authority in the event of unlawful data processing.
