Function:
The Power Failure Detector PFD 230 reliably monitors the mains voltage between the socket and the connected electrical load (e.g. refrigerator). In the event of a power failure, the PFD 230 immediately alerts the user via a visual and audible alarm, thus helping to prevent possible consequential damage. Thanks to the integrated rechargeable battery, the alarm remains active for up to 24 hours – even during prolonged power outages.
Note:
The PFD 230 is intended exclusively for indoor use and must not be connected in series. Before initial commissioning or after long periods of storage, the device must remain plugged into the socket for at least 24 hours to fully charge the battery.
